Terms of use

The rules of the road for Flipside, written to be read, not skimmed.

The short version

Play Flipside for fun with your family and friends. Purchases are one-time and go through Apple or Google. Passengers read the cards, drivers watch the road.

Effective October 27, 2026 · These terms are between you and Sideline HQ LLC ("we", "us"), the publisher of Flipside ("the app") and operator of flipside-digital.com. By using the app or the site, you agree to them. On the App Store, Apple's Standard License Agreement also applies; these terms add to it.

1. Using Flipside

We grant you a personal, non-transferable license to use Flipside for your own non-commercial entertainment, on devices you own or control, as allowed by the store you got it from. Please don't copy, resell or redistribute the app or its trivia content, including the cards in the web demo.

2. Purchases

  • Flipside is free to download and includes free trivia packs. Additional packs (and an All Access pass, where offered) are one-time in-app purchases. They aren't subscriptions and don't renew.
  • Purchases are processed by Apple or Google and follow their terms, including their refund policies. Request a refund from Apple at reportaproblem.apple.com, or from Google through your Google Play order history.
  • Purchases are tied to your store account. Use Restore purchases in Settings to get them back on a new device. Where family sharing is available and turned on for a purchase, your family can use it too.
  • Where offered, the All Access pass includes every pack we release for the app while we continue to offer it.

3. Trivia content

We work hard to make every question and answer accurate, but trivia can contain mistakes, and some facts change over time. The content is for entertainment only. If you spot an error, tell us at info@sidelinehq.co and we'll fix it in an update.

Flipside is an independent trivia game. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by or sponsored by any company, studio, artist, film, show, brand, team or organization mentioned in its questions. Names mentioned in questions belong to their respective owners.

4. Ownership

The app, this website, their design, artwork and trivia content belong to Sideline HQ LLC and are protected by copyright and other laws.

5. Play safely

Flipside is meant for passengers. Drivers should keep their eyes on the road and let someone else read the cards.

6. Disclaimer

The app and the website are provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, to the extent the law allows. We don't promise they'll be error-free or always available.

7. Limitation of liability

To the extent the law allows, Sideline HQ LLC isn't liable for indirect, incidental or consequential damages arising from your use of the app or the website, and our total liability is limited to the amount you paid for the app's in-app purchases.

8. Changes

We may update these terms. If we do, we'll change the effective date above. Continuing to use the app or the site means you accept the updated terms.

9. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida and applicable federal law of the United States, without regard to conflict-of-law rules.
